How was this past year for you?
This is the perfect time of year to ponder what was really delicious (or not) for you in 2013. What did you do that really enhanced your lifestyle and helped you to reach your goals?
When you are clear about what that is, you can intentionally weave this into your days going forward.
Here are a few questions for you to ponder that will help you to see the gifts you have both shared and received this year. You can answer these about your life and/or your business.
What is one thing you are most proud of this year? (i.e, you worked out consistently, you spent the time you wanted to with your family, you reached your financial goals this year, you began your meditation practice)
What is one thing you wish you had done differently this year? (i.e, spent more time with friends, traveled more, stayed home more, focused more on what is really important to you, laughed more)
What new skill did you learn this year? (i.e, how to better use Siri, how to play an instrument, cook desserts, knit a scarf, write a book)
What new or existing relationship are you glad that you nurtured? (i.e, business colleague, mother, neighbor, partner)
What quality are you most proud of in yourself? (i.e, generosity, make others laugh, help friends in need, volunteer, donate money)
When you take a few minutes to ponder your journey, you’ll remember the wonderful things about this year.
From there, weave these wonderful ingredients into your recipe for success and notice how delightful your days become.
And if it is not as delicious as you would have hoped, the good news is there is always next year!
My last question for you to ponder, is this – If you were to choose a word or two to describe your year, what would they be? Fill in the blank.
2013 was the year of _____________________________________.
My answer to that question will be featured in 2 weeks. Look for it and tips on how to move forward into 2014 with more joy, focus, and prosperity.
